I'm sure you've seen this post -
which both seem close but I didn't see the answer jump out to me in
either of those. I still wonder if I'm just not doing something right
with my syntax, pre-filling the Issue Subject/Name field with a title is
indeed what I'm trying to do t...
I thought this was possible but am not immediately seeing the post. We
are looking to replace an outdated internal process by replacing it with
a Workfront Request Queue, but would like to pass some of the values in
from an external source (like a document title). I thought this would be
possible by appending those values onto the URL string but am not having
much success yet. Something like the sample URL below.
For the breadcrumbs issue you mention, you may need to mark Portfolio as
No Access per the user Access Level. Though that may not work for you if
you still want them to access Projects through Portfolios. A workaround
may be to hide Portfolios and then set the default Grouping on the
Projects interface to Group by Portfolio Name within the layout template
for your users. If you don't have a ton of Portfolios, just cutting them
from the layout and "faking" the Projects to universally work may do ...
There are a number of fields I'd like to hide for a new layout I'm
building. But I don't see the setting, am I blind or is there simply no
setting? These are the fields displayed towards the upper right when
viewing a project/program/portfolio. Example at the Program level, I'd
like to remove the fields in the upper right. Sorry if this is a silly
one, I'm just not seeing it under Setup > Interface > Layout Template >
pick my layout to edit > ....???
I scrolled through the list of reporting filters a little slower on a
Task Level report and found the Task Pending Approval option. You could
combine that with Assignment Users ID equal $$USER to get all tasks
pending approval for the logged in user (assuming the user is assigned
to the task as well). Also, there's the Task Is Approval filter which
you could leverage and combine with Task Status to get the same set of
results. I'm trying to get in the habit of using more prompts so I can
I am working to make a "Friendly URL" to a Program level Project Brief.
I'm building the URL with a calculated field on the Project Brief custom
form in the first place, that way I can get the URL to appear on the
report when there IS a a Project Brief, and not appear when there isn't.
The problem is that my snippet below is showing plain Project Brief text
when there isn't a Project Brief custom form. So something with my
valueexpression is wrong, I just don't know what.
I'd be pretty curious of this one as well. It seems like the Home > Work
List > Approvals is the only place to see YOUR assigned pending
approvals. But I'd personally like to roll that into a dashboard for our
"Reviewer" license type users that aren't frequent users.
We actually landed in a similar place, but used a different snippet to
get there. I think you'd want the below to show completed milestones (on
a Project level report) - displayname=Completed
Replace "CPL" with whatever your "Completed" task status key is.
