Hi AllI am facing an issue that the default metadata properties such as "cq:name" and "dam:baseVersion" are not getting set automatically on uploading a new asset.Earlier this was working fine but now have stopped working. I am not sure what customization have lead to this. Can someone please suggest what drives these values to the DAM?I believed that some step in the DAM Update Asset Workflow drives this but now I am not sure on this part. Thanks in Advance.RegardsAkshat Jain

Hi All,We are working on AEM 6.4 sp2 for implementation of a DAM.We are using QueryBuilder for searching assets based upon their properties. So a requirement has arose to make this search case insensitive. That means when I am searching for a property such as “dam:name”, and giving value “myName”, I should get all the assets that have the “dam:name” as “myname”, “MYNAME” etc. Please suggest a way to achieve this. Thanks in advance. Thanks and RegardsAkshat Jain

Hi There,I am trying to implement OAuth authentication for my custom APIs.I am able to authorize the request using clint ID, get the code and generate token using the code and Client secret. The issue I am getting is while I hit the authorize URL with my Client ID, I have to provide a redirect URL, which on hitting, pops up a UI asking for AEM credentials followed by a popup asking to authorize that request which then redirects me to that mentioned URL appended with the code. But, I want to use al...

I have a requirement to enable publication of assets through workflow only. Hence I want to hide the OOTB buttons of 'Quick Publish' and 'Manage Publication' from the DAM UI. I tried removing the replication permissions for the user groups but ghat revokes the ability to publish through workflow also. Can someone please suggest a way to hide these buttons? Maybe through UI.

I found a solution to this. If we remove the JSON path from the drop down and add the choices manually, we are able to add choices based on several rules.

My requirement is to trigger a custom workflow when a use tries to publish or unpublish the assets through Quick Publish or Manage Publication options. This can also be managed by adding a customized step in the OOTB workflow that gets triggered on click of those buttons. My understanding was that "Request for Deactivation" and "Request for Activation" workflows get triggered in these case, but the same is not happening. Please suggest if I am missing something.Additional Info:The "Schedule Deactiv...

HeyI tried this approach for an asset deactivation for the same requirement as that of Ravi.I added a custom step in the "Request for Deactivation" workflow, but the changes did not reflected. However they reflect for the "Schedule deactivation of page/asset" workflow. Can you please suggest the fix?

I have created a workflow, say "My Asset Ingestion workflow". When I select that asset and click create workflow, I see a list of workflow options available. However it is expected that the already initiated workflow should be disabled.

Hi,I have implemented a metadata in AEM6.4.0 on my local machine that contains some dropdowns where choices are based on some rules.AEM provides this functionality Out of The Box.But as I login to the development environment i.e. at AEM 6.4.2, I cannot see the option to add choices based on rules. Is it a defect in AEM or is there any specific reason for this. One thing to note is that if I replicate the default schema and edit that, the dropdowns already present show this functionality, but if I...
