As @Arun_Patidar mentioned , you have to write custom Jquery to handle these. In you script , you have to see when the option b is selected , using script , set the property "aria-required" true , for these elements. I have done something similar in my proj , where I had to make fields mandatory when the tab is visible. Its the same logic. When your options are visible, you can use the below logic to set the fields mandatory $("name='./'").attr("aria-required", "true"); There are few more things...

If I remember correctly ; anything done in design mode is saved under /etc/designs/. I checked the link you mentioned https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/authoring/siteandpage/default-components-designmode.html?lang=en#enable-disable-components and it specifies a note which says NOTEDesign mode is only available for design configurations stored as content under ( /etc).Starting in AEM 6.4, it is recommended to store designs as configuration data under /apps to support c...

These stand true for HTL and JSPs. The resolution happens as per https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-387 . I have to check how React SPA is structured. There won't be any big difference as the React components might be having a one on one relation with AEM components. And AEM components are written in HTL . I will still look into the React SPA and give more input on this.

@charlieshum /content/we-retail/us/en.1.html/test.html looks like an invalid sling to me to be resolved. I couldn't understand your question completely , but still I have compiled some Sling Resolution related links for your better understnading. Hope this helps. https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/sling-script-resolution/qaq-p/281048https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/sling-script-resolution-best-explained/td-p/250521ht...

@vijays80591732 I think you have to add the Header component in the Editable template and then Set the policies for the Parsys inside the Header component, rather than adding it to your page. Because, when you add the component to your page, the parsys inside it has no policy attached to it yet. So if you add it in Template and enable the policy , then your parsys should work I believe. I have never worked on this usecase, but I think that should work.

@ariesyinn How the dam content is pushed to your publish instances ? Did you check with your team ? Even though we can make changes via CRXDE ( given you should have permission to login ) I will say don't make any changes in the publish directly. That is not how AEM is designed to perform . If you think your AEM Dev has no Author ( which I am not sure why !?) please reach out to your team and understand from where the content is pushed to the publish. Go via the proper medium. Publish should be ...

@tulasi909 Could you tell which link you are following or what steps you did so that we can guide you properly ? I understand your issue and have seen it before too , but may be the steps you followed so far might give us the right idea on this issue. It could either be a firewall issue or issue with the repositories added. Have you added the Adobe Public profile to you settings.xml ? @AEMnewbie I agree with @Arun_Patidar and @Shashi_Mulugu , but then since you told you don't want to write one time script, as your authors might be the one who is going to do this , I would say create a custom tools page which will be like a utility page for the authors. In the way you think best suits for the authors give them the option to choose the components from the page which they want to copy or move. It will totally depend on your requirement, but that would be one way to do it I guess...

May be if you can give a similar sample code to replicate the issue would help us. There is no other possibility I see for this to happening unless it is called twice somewhere

To understand how you have implemented your component , your Card List component has a Sling Model, which internally query as you mentioned right ? If that is the case how the image tag is invoking the sling model ?

@mohanasundaramp Did you install the already available bundle or any custom bundle ? Becoz as the error says com.akamai.edgegrid.signer.exceptions,version=[4.0,5) -- Cannot be resolved Your “edgegrid-signer-core” has a dependency to the above bundle and the version is not available in your felix console. You can either check the bundle which has above dependency with version, or if you are using custom bundle , please remove the version references in the META-INF and rebuild the bundle. ( do thi...

Do you have a jquery you have written to handle the same ? I doubt there is something wrong with the logic you have written to make the fields mandatory.

@SiriusRex Thanks for the detailed query. It helps to get to the issue more precisely. So as you understood correctly , since the AEM WCMMode disabled and preview are mirrors of each other. It is provided so that we can see the Author changes in preview mode before actually going to Publish. So what I feel which will help you differentiate between Author and Publish is to check the runmode. If you are using sightly , we cannot get it directly in the HTL file, instead you can write a server side ...

Your basic understanding regarding MSM is right , but it will depend on the purpose. I am not sure if you ot a chance to go through https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/administering/introduction/msm.html?lang=en#possible-scenarios . It explains the common scenarios where we can opt for MSM.

@Shaheena_Sheikh What I understood from your requirement is that , you have to load some JS specifically for authoring dialog alone. If that is the case I think the best way to do so is to use the extraClientLibs property in the dialog node Check this https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/could-you-please-explain-what-is-extraclientlibs/qaq-p/197623 ThanksVeena ✌

Unless you mention the libraries which needs to be picked up explicitly ( as explained by @BrianKasingli and @dgordon86 ) , AEM will not be able to identify which file it needs to pick for your component. You have to define the clientLibs categories and include that to either head or foot

In ACS AEM Commons , there is a Tags to CSV exporter. http://localhost:4502/etc/acs-commons/exporters/tag-to-csv-exporter.html I am not sure if there is any OOTB tool for CSV to Tag Importing. What best you can do is to write a custom import tool depending on your use cases.

The color-picker doesn't work in Experience Fragment (XF) pages since the Handlebar js is not available there and underscore (clientlibs added as dependency in the picker) doesn't have Handlebar.compile module. I was trying with handlebars as dependency all the time after reading it somewhere, but after some debugging ( thanks to my co-worker) I could figure out that the dependency which had handlebar in AEM is cq.handlebars. So anybody facing Handlebars.compile is not a function issue in the fu...

@Arun_Patidar The plugin you provided is also having the same issue. It is not working in Experience Fragment pages. Throwing the same Handlebars.compile issue.
