so you mean that the reprocessing is overwriting metadata properties, which you have customized already?   In that case turn on the xmp writeback, which will modify the binaries and update them with your adjusted values; then the reprocessing won't overwrite your customized values anymore.

AEM is not an Identity Management system, but you can configure it to rely on such a system, e.g. using SAML. There are dedicated systems, which can do that much better than AEM.

I don't think that this feature is really required, because you can always do a force-push from your own git to the CloudManager git. That means that any push directly into the CM git by a developer will be overwritten.
