I've been reading up on at.js 2, and one of the big selling points looks
to be it can load all of your activities for your SPA flow at once and
cache them local, rather than requiring a round trip to the server for
each new view.Nice feature.I do have a question though: Say you are
capturing data in Analytics that forwards over to AAM. You have a
segment defined in AAM that your user qualifies for on View X of your
SPA, and you use that audience for an XT activity on View X+2. Will the
user get ...
Sometimes, like when transitioning to a new report suite, you need to
send Analytics calls to different report suites utilizing different
variable mappings. In DTM you could do this by installing 2 instances of
the Adobe Analytics tool in your property and naming the trackers
differently. This cannot be done in Launch. We would like to see the
Analytics extension updated to allow multiple instances of the tracker.
Basically, make the s_gi() capability available in Launch without
resorting to a lo...
Andrey Osadchuk - that is what we did. Works, but definitely not
elegant or "Launch-y" in my opinion. Is there a place to put in feature
requests for the Analytics Extension? I know where to ask for things for
the core Launch product, but not the solution-specific extensions. The
Launch team is excellent at responding to questions and suggestions. Not
so much with some of the solution extension teams.
Is there a way that I am not finding - or even one on the development
plan - to have more than one tracker instance available in the Analytics
extension? Essentially a way, in Launch, to use the s_gi() function from
AppMeasurement. We have a client migrating between report suite
configurations, and need to fire requests to separate report suites
using different mappings. In DTM we could do this by installing 2
instances of the Adobe Analytics tool, but we can't figure out a way in
Launch (short o...
After further review, it turns out the user was also included in another
product profile under Launch that granted this additional access.
Unfortunately, there is not a good way to see this in the console - you
have to open each Product Profile one by one and see what users are
assigned to it.So this isn't a Launch problem, just another issue with
the inscrutable Admin Console UI.
Hi there.I created an account in the Experience Cloud for use with
training. In the Admin Console I created a User Group called "training"
and assigned my new user to that group. In that user group, under Product
Profiles, is Launch Training Profile. This Product Profile gives access
to the 15 different training properties, all 5 property rights and 0
company rights. What I am after is the ability to for my training user
to do pretty much everything inside one of the training profiles, but
Hi, stephenk67545596Actually, this rule has custom code in the rule
condition and no actual rule body. That custom code does a getVar on
several data elements which, in turn, execute custom code.I didn't write
it in the first place, but I have seen plenty of instances of tricks
like this where people have tried to reduce the number of js files that
DTM would load. So it's a weird case. I have gotten around the problem
by moving this code into the rule with an Order value of 10. Phase II of
I am migrating a property from DTM to Launch. I have a couple of rules
that trigger on Library Loaded that I need to fire early, so I set the
Order value to 10 and 20. All the others are the default of 50.The rule
with an order of 10 always fires first, but one with an order of 20
always fires after several of the 50 rules. This is causing some
grief. Why is the order value not honored after the first one? Thanks!
Hi there.Full disclaimer - I am only semi-literate in AEM. The rest of
the Experience Cloud? Pretty solid. But AEM is a different beast. In a
help article about AEM tags, I read this:...tags applied as page
properties will automatically show up in the metatags of the page
...What tag name will these show up under? Does it truly happen
automatically, or does something need to be added to the page template
to get it written to the final content? We are investigating using the
tags applied in AEM as...
