Strange behavior with Floating fields

Hi,I have used many times a regular text with a Floating Field inside of it (i.e. a Text element linked to an hidden TextField). Since the TextField is hidden, what I usually do is create a visible TextField that is linked (through scripting) to the hidden one.And it usually works great! Except for one thing: when the Text with the Floating Field is "outside" of the page, i.e. in the Master Page... I can link it as usual with scripting and it works fine, BUT when I click the Print button, the co...

Hi all,I have a client who has a special need: he needs the textfields to be positioned bottom to top. I explain...We have few fields that we fill on page 2 and need to be copied to page 3, which is a page for press printer (I guess...) with cropping marks and so on...Some fields are optional, so the solution is easy: put a subform with a flowable layout and detect each optional field if they are empty. If they are, we set the presence to hidden and if they are filled we set them to visible...Th...

Hi,A client asked me something that I've never seen and don't think is possible, but I always prefer to search before saying it is not...We need to add a map to a form in LCD. The user will click a button to show it. So far, no problem... What he wants is to put an interactive image from the Internet (from what I've seen, we can enter a URL in the image field); first, I'm not sure if the image (it's a map, so maybe he's talking about a Google map) will still be interactive once inside LCD... Tha...

Hi,I had a similar problem with a pdf created in LCD. If you ever open a pdf form in LCD and see a message about it being Reader Enabled and that you have to overwrite it, you likely have the same problem I had... My file went from less than 300 kb to more than 16 Mb... and back to around 300 kb with the following solution...For a reason not very clear, once a file has been applied the Reader Enabled feature inside Acrobat, if we open it again inside LCD it kind of keeps a memory and every time ...

Hi Paul,Right now I don't have LiveCycle Server (I don't know if the free Blaze DS can work with that... I don't know much about it).I was thinking about using the second way (i.e. create an image field with a button to add more fields to attach pictures), but the best would be the first way if it is possible...What I could do is create the file in LCD, then open it in Acrobat and extend it for Reader... From what I understand, it won't do the same thing, but if I can save locally, that would wo...
