Hi Mouselander - that is correct. In physical terms, each text field
(with caption) starts off about say 6 lines deep max. So when the form
is empty there can be as many as 5 of these up on an A4 page. The
problem arises when say the first of these 5 fields starts to get
populated beyond a few lines ...
Okay, so after some research I can see that the reason why it's not
working is because the functions are working asynchronously ... so
irrespective of the order, they all work pretty much at the same time.
Problem is, I'm not sure about how to go about splitting them into two
sections (hide the info...
Ahh, no, it doesn't quite work.Throughout a section I have info boxes -
these are text boxes wrapped in a subform called info1a, info1b etc.
which are set to be hidden pre print - and post print they are set to
visible. This works in itself. However the code above still counts the
page numbers within...
Hi there,I think this is a simple one (hopefully).I have a flowed form
(dynamic). In one section I have multiple text fields, one after another
flowing from top to bottom. There are about 15 of these. The text files
all have captions - some of them running into several lines. Each text
filed is expa...
ahhh, okay, didn't think that was possible. Like I said, I'm relatively
new to this and have been getting by with the good help of others and
the in-built editor which is limited to say the least. Is this something
you could give me a steer on?Thanks for all your help - greatly
Thanks for the reply mouselander.I think I get where you're coming from.
The issue I have is that I don't want a print button to appear within
the body of the form (as it can, and does, expand dramatically when the
user enters text into the fields). My initial solution was to put a
print icon in the...
I've changed my thinking on this (and so I have a new problem!). My
worry was that in terms of usability I just didn't like the idea of a
user jumping from one page to another in the form without being able to
return - though do let me know if this is even possible!Instead I've
decided to ask about ...
Hi there,I'm struggling with an issue of usability.I have a complex form
which increases in size when the user enters more text - many pages
where there are info boxes of text that are hidden when printing - this
has a knock on effect that page numbers on screen don't match page
numbers when printin...
Hi there,I have a large form spanning over many pages which is flowable
- so it can grow in size depending on the data inputted. Because of this
I have managed to create buttons which can print sections rather than
page numbers, which works well. because of the size of the form, I have
placed all th...
