Re: Use value with itemId in breakdown report, API 2.0 jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
I know this is an old thread - but is there any progress on this? If I have a sheet that takes an input from a user, say:Campaign = "Email" or "affiliate" How do I dynamically convert that term "Email" or the term "Affiliate" into an ID that Adobes AA API can then read?Calling the Dimensions/ endpoint is too generic and does not provide exact ids to be later added to a list for users to choose fromShould I just call a blank report once to get a list of "Values" (customer facing) and their corres...

Re: Segments endpoint API 2.0 returns blank response jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Figured it out! You must include "&includeType=all", otherwise nothing comes back. In the Swagger UI, this is not a required value

I am able to grab a *single* segment, so it makes me think I'm doing something wrong in the URL?

Segments endpoint API 2.0 returns blank response jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Feel like I'm doing something dumb here. Trying to hit the "segments" endpoint on the 2.0 API, in order to create a mapping of "segment id" to "segment name"It returns a 200 code, but only returns an empty JSON. Am I doing something wrong with the URL or request?: Firing a GET to this location:https://analytics.adobe.io/api/[myglobalcompanyid]/segments/?rsids=[myreportsuite] Response:[20-01-10 16:15:51:093 CST]{"content":[],"numberOfElements":0,"totalElements":0,"totalPages":0,"lastPage":true,"f...

Re: How the Adobe Target Perform rule for new visitors jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
Thanks for all this everybody, very grateful - Looks like Target aligns with itself for the most part, which is good.I don't think the two tools are looking at "New" over the same period of time - I have those three things in our implementation you mention:(A4T enabled, ECID enabled, Target Profile at 90 days)I believe the EC cookie is a 2-year cookie thoughcookieLifetime Whereas the max profile length you can get in Target is 13 weeks (90 days)This seems to align with an experiment I ran.Target...

Re: How the Adobe Target Perform rule for new visitors jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
One follow up, sorry. In target, when setting up audiences, there are two options for targeting new visitors. One is in the Target Profile, the other is located in the Target Library.I'm not seeing any documentation that shows what the difference is between them. I know the expiration of the target profile can be changed, what's the expiration of the target library (or is it more session-based)?

Re: How the Adobe Target Perform rule for new visitors jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
Is "New Visitor" definition in Target (as built by an audience using the Target Profile) aligned with Analytics definition of "New Visitor" which runs off of Experience Cloud ID Service?

Additional Default Options jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
Hello,A lot of our tests have several settings that are almost always the same.We always use A4T, we always use the same RSID, we always want to use the same priority, same property, etc. These options must be selected every time we set up a test.It would be nice if we had some more options for "default settings" with test setupEdit: It might be nice as well, if we could have a "Settings Profile" (please don't call it something confusing like 'cloud') where we could say "this profile of settings ...

Adobe Target Doesn't Respect Priority jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
Hello,Had an issue last night where two tests were set to fire on the same URL. One test had a priority of 0 (lowest) the other had a priority of 1 (higher). What happened is both sets of content were displayed next to each other.I used VEC, but the way we operate (for context) is that we have our developers give us custom JS code that injects code into a "slot" if that slot exists on the page, so I'm not manually moving things around and editing images.Did some QA on this, and it looks like Tar...

Re: S_fid jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Hey @chrism18776410AMCV and AMCVS should take precedence over s_fid, so if your marketing cloud ID is being set properly, you shouldn't see the s_fid in a debugger, in my experience.Sometimes this can happen if Appmeasurement.js loads before s.Visitor.js - you can check that in the console using the command "s_c_il":Notice the order of the array: 0 = Visitor (s.Vistior.js), 1= Appmeasurement (Appmeasurement.js)I'd give that a check quick to be safe Let me know how you get on and if you need anyt...

Re: Intention to End-of-life Ad Hoc Analysis (Discover) announced jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Thanks for the honesty and the reply, much appreciated. I'm 100% confident the people on this thread already know how to transfer projects, because you can't bring up issues with transition unless you used both tools - I think the pain point is that workspaces cannot be transitioned to as it is insufficient. I fear the session, though intended to be helpful, kind of is missing the point of taking feedback 😕 It's not that we don't know how to cope with the choice, it's that the replacement tool ...

Is this a feedback session or a how-to? (I don't need a how to), I don't think many here need an Ad Hoc teaching session, so just wanted to clarify what the live session was for

Re: Fix Granularity Representation on Export jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Thanks for the feedback Jen - the sorting is a pretty easy fix in excel. It's more challenging if a new user pulls a monthly report, and gets an output like "05/06/18", and have to explain to someone that that signifies the month of May, that it isn't something that was pulled by day with a bunch of missing days etc.Where a user can see "May (May 6 - June 2)" and know what they're looking at.

Thanks for that reply, definitely will help formulate everyone's responses towards a set of needed features. It sounds like things that are already planned are:-Query builder (which I assume is a table builder).-50K Rows.My other call out initially was a compact view (it's too bubbly) Analysis Workspace: Compact Report StylesheetFix Granularity exports (which may already be being addressed) Fix Granularity Representation on Export

Re: Fix Granularity Representation on Export jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Sure thing -In the example above, Feburary of 2017 are the dates 1/29/17 - 2/25/17 for a fiscal calendar. If you create a report (like on the left) of say sales broken down by month, and then you export that report to a CSV, the output, rather than being labeled as "Feb 2017" is actually the starting date of February. This makes it challenging to work with this data, as you can have a date which "appears" to be February (2/26/17) but is actually March. The desired output would be the label "Feb 20...

Re: Intention to End-of-life Ad Hoc Analysis (Discover) announced jharrington7897 - Adobe Analytics
Hello Adobe and thanks for posting to get feedback - I outlined some concerns here In a post about 6 months back:Ad Hoc will no longer be supported - concerns? Here's something that needs fixing in Workspaces:Fix Granularity Representation on Export One other thing I would like to see is a compact view. There's way too much effort to make it look like an i-phone I'm a data guy, we don't work on tablets that require big buttons, we work on desktops and multiple screens I don't like a bubbly prett...

JWT Generated by Adobe is an invalid JWT jharrington7897 - Adobe Target
We have a service acct integration (I'm assuming correctly) set up in Adobe I/O.Navigating the the "JWT" tab to generate a JWT token and curl request in order to exchange for an access tokenThe JWT Token created by Adobe for Adobe's tools is incorrect?:{"error_description":"No valid bindings were found for organization and technical account combination","error":"invalid_token"}my knowledge on JWT and Auth in general is pretty basic, so it's likely me screwing up- but I mean, this is out of the b...
