In most cases our templates have a top-level task for the project manger (planner) to log general project hours against. They can also be assigned to specific tasks to log hours against.

Our finals are only recorded as an upload to a digital asset manager (not Workfront's). We only use WF for change cycles and approvals…the "final" never ends-up there.
