As a matter of fact, yes! It was totally my fault too, I forgot all about those URLs and so the dev team on Android didn’t know to do them. We fixed it this sprint and it’ll work in our next release, due in about a week.Neil
Actually, to be clear, it does that on Android because that's "The Android Way". On iOS it's not quite the same as it adheres to standard iOS behaviours. I talked to Nate and he has some ideas here, he'll probably reply with additional thoughts.Neil

Once we support app rotation the situation you describe should work fine. Your existing content will show horizontal. When the PDF resource is loaded it'll come up horizontal as well, but your reader can rotate the device to see it portrait.Neil
