"[FieldName] validate failed." in dynamic form with no validation - Adobe LiveCycle 16-03-2013
This error message has me baffled. I have read the other discussion, which talks about the error being triggered by digital signature fields, but this situation does not apply to my form/error.I have a few date fields in this form, and three of them are interacting with this error. EventDateEventDate-14DateBalanceDueEventDate is a User-Entered - Optional Date field.EventDate-14 is a Calculated - Read Only Date field. (I've also tried it with the name EventDate14, and I get the same result.) In th...

Re: browser compatibility issue - Adobe LiveCycle 13-03-2013
I ran into this issue on my site as well. I addressed it by forcing the PDF to download instead of open in the browser. You can force download with a few lines in an .htaccess file on an Apache webserver. Instead of making all of my PDF files download, I created a separate folder on the server just for the PDF files that don't display in the browser properly, and I put the .htaccess file in that folder (so it doesn't affect the rest of the site).Simply create a plain text file and name it .htacc...

Re: Can't view form in any version of Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 11-11-2011
Thank you for your reply! I looked at this link, and that would have to be installed by each user of the document. I really need a solution to fix the form so users don't have to do anything except fill out the form, but I appreciate the reply!

Can't view form in any version of Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 09-11-2011
I created a form in Word then imported it into ES2. It works great in Acrobat X Pro, but it will not open in Reader 8 or Reader X. I enabled it as a Reader Extended PDF, and I tried saving it with several different settings, including these and other combinations:The errors I get when I try to open it in Reader X are below (in order--before the doc "opens" and then what "opens." (I'm not using any Korean fonts that I know of.)My boss is trying to open it in Reader 8 (when I send him the Reader 8...

Re: Tab order not working - Adobe LiveCycle 18-10-2011
pguerett,Thanks so much! That did the trick. I kept looking at tab order, but I never looked at Hierarchy. I'm not sure how they got so messed up in that regard. (That's not the order in which I placed the fields--in fact, I imported the form.) Thanks again! That was driving me crazy!Karen

Tab order not working - Adobe LiveCycle 15-10-2011
I am working on a form, and for some reason the tab order is not right. When I go to the Tab Order panel, all of the fields are in the correct order. However, when you tab in the document, they are haphazard, in no logical order. I have have tried moving them around and saving, but they stay in the same wrong order no matter what I do.The form is located here:http://www.alvingolf.com/docs/creditCardAgreement.pdfThanks,Karen
