Our UX team have posed a question to us. They want to know if we can track the use of different font sizes, or contrasts in overlays to be able to understand how best to design the page from an accessibility point of view. As he described, can we get any data to better understand if some of the users that access our sites are using assistive technologies. Anyone had any experience using Adobe for this? Or have you used an external tech?

HI i've undertaken all of Adobe Analytics training over the years, but now we have upgraded to Adobe Ultimate, i'm being asked to implement this, but i can't see any training/best practice/guidance to do this. Will it be absorbed as part of the training i've done in the past or is there anything new and specific?

Hi this is useful. I assume that this means if i have used the tracking elements within classifications, then i shouldn't use the classifcations to breakdown channels either? Even if the marketing channels were configured using tracking codes? Is best practice to use the classifications independently?

Thanks. My problem wasn''t related to why i saw 'Exits' against downloads. i have discovered that these Exits, also counted for Exits for our props. That has cleared up a lot of confusion.

Thanks, but that doesn't explain when i can breakdown a page by download link (OOTB) and have a number of Exits (OOTB) against the download.

Is it possible for Adobe to count download link clicks as Exits, especially the file opens in a new window. i realize that Adobe should first and foremost count the download link because its linktype = d, but i don't understand why i see exits measured against download urls. i'm trying to understand the scenario of why.

Khurshid, i'm afraid i'm not following this. We have hundreds of existing files on the site. Isn't it possible to somehow from Launch do something that captures the last part in the evar, without doing anything on the site, or am i dependent on dev support here?

hi i would like to capture the last part of our long file download urls because it is much easier to report when they are friendly urls. i know that i can use the following in a console to tell me the value of the page link. location.href.split('/').pop(); But i need this for the file download url which just happens to open in a new window, as expected behaviour for our website. i feel like i'm close, i've tried to capture the value in an eVar; i've tried to use the value above in a data element...

Here is my update. i've created a prop for Page and set that up. Then i made sure i was setting the PageName in the event rules. Then i reordered my actions as: Clear Variables > Set Variables > Send Beacon. i will see if this will make a difference. i'm still seeing the following though. here is an example of the 25% and 50% notes in Launch. Rule "25% Test Scroll Fires" [Adobe Analytics]Clear variables [Adobe Analytics]Set variables on the tracker [Adobe Analytics]Applying the following propert...

i'm using the Time and Scroll Event plugin in Launch. The plan is to track on a page the scroll depth by 25, 50, 75, 100 percent. i'm not using getpercentplugin because the business wants to know on first page visits the interaction so it wouldn't work. i'm running into issues with my implementation for a few reasons. First, although i've allocated success events to each percentage, when the rules are successfully firing, i'm getting extra calls. For example: 🚀 [Adobe Analytics] Applying the fo...

Hi, i have opted out, and i've also tested myself incognito, and unfortunately still not feeding through. i'm really at a loss. i've liaised with our network team. They have a few urls which they categorised as SSC - not sure what that means. Maybe i need them whitelisted to get the data to pass?

i'm using the clothing geometrix site on my local browser using a test web property i created in Launch. i'm pretty sure i've set everything up correctly. i can see the calls and i am using experience debugger and omnibug and i can see things working. Only problem is the data isn't flowing into my report suite. i've double checked this. Is something blocking it? I'm only using the DEV extension code, but i'm only sending the data to the matching report suite. i'm not sure where i'm going wrong?

Hi, when the team migrated, they kept everything the same as it was in DTM. So the same internal domains were the ones they kept.

HI, we only started using custom tracking of our links in Oct. The problem with the outbound links started around the same time we migrated to Launch at the end of April. We only noticed recently that the data stopped around that time.

HI, we migrated to Launch at the end of April. At this time, we have realised that our standard reporting of exit links stopped appearing. My colleague did the migration and i've checked on the Launch property - the checked box for tracking outbound links is still there. has anyone else experienced this? i've asked our IT team if anything happened to the website around that time, but while i wait i wanted to reach out and ask, if there was anything from an Adobe perspective because my manager be...

Hi, this hasn't helped. We tried that. The 1st and 2nd values are being captured together for some reason and its throwing everything out of order. Is there anything we can do with the regex to perhaps deal with exceptions? Or should make changes to the tracking code ourselves? Our tracking codes will either have a utm appended, or not so its scenario based.

Difficult question to ask, but can the firing of s.t()tracking links increase the count of visits, without the increase of page views? Is that even possible when the tracking links are on a page.
