Perhaps communication can take place in the same way we receive notes
about monthly updates. Also, I found somewhat of a workaround for
calendar events/annotations. You can create a calculated metric using
the day container (= jan 1 or 5 in this instance) with occurrences as
the dimension. After adding the calculated metric to your freeform table
within analysis workspace set the metric to display using the gear icon,
adjust the column setting to "interpret zero as no value".
Hello,I recently found our internal IP exclusions are inactive. If I
reactive these IP addresses will this help filter our internal traffic
retroactively from these IPs or would this just impact data in the
future? Also I saw previous AAC posts reference the ability to filter
out internal IPs within analysis workspace by using a segment with a
prop or evar. If this is true, would someone help me walk through this?
Thanks so much, AAC!
I'm not exactly sure what is the root cause, but I have encountered this
issue too and have a bandaid fix. Analysis workspace errors typically
happen for me when I add Chrome plugins (I always have issues with
tables being truncated and visuals not appearing whenever I add the MEGA
downloads plugin for example), but this is only a hunch. Anyways, a
quick workaround I've found whenever I cannot save/refresh a workspace
and get that same error message is to "Save As" a new project. Typically
Yes, I would love to upvote this! We encountered the same issue. We have
switched to only sending projects through Analysis Workspace. This
feature in analysis workspace would be essential for us. Our office has
been closed through the New Year so we did not even see this issue was
occurring until today. It would have been great to receive a courtesy
notice from Adobe that many users were having this issue...
Hi Suzannen,We're also hoping to implement Launch, but had trouble
getting assistance from ACSS (adobe customer success services) or from
our Sales Rep (who never got back to us to this day). I found an easy
remedy which may help! Swap out the "Page URL" dimension with just the
"Page" dimension and this will ignore http/https protocols (and I'm
assuming the Homepage/homepage issue). Regarding Launch: here is the
myriad of links we received from ACSS (Thankfully we had a really caring
Hey ACC!Quick question regarding trend visualizations with granularity
set to weekly. When I do a fiscal-year-to-date comparison the prior year
(FYTD 2018) also begins from 0 and the current year (FYTD2019) always
ends at zero (see screen shot). This gives the illusion to our
leadership that we are suddenly plummetting at the end of the year when
this is inaccurate. How do I eliminate the year-end (and year-beginning)
drastic drops? I'm able to do it in a monthly view when I limit max
items to 11...

going to go down the Util.getQueryParam route. Have you come across any

Did the util.getQueryParam replace the get.QueryParam? Also I'm seeing

query parameters... However, when I read the implementation documents
for AppMeasurement there is this prompt: Note: This section describes
the legacy method of implementing Analytics. All Analytics customers
have access to Dynamic Tag Management which is the standard method to

UPDATE (2/21): After some digging it looks like in order to do similar
campaign tracking as GA I would need to implement the Get Query
Parameter plug-in to our SiteCatalyst.js file. Anyone have a
step-by-step guide for nontechnical AA users, such as myself, on how I
might go about this or how I might help provide a resource to our dev.
Anyone have any tips on how to view leads by a transaction ID dimension
(similar to how GA does it). I feel like this should be a relatively
simple way to do this that I'm just missing. In a similar vein, we're
tracking display and search (Adword) performance through the Creative
Elements dimension and the tracking code dimension. Do you have any
advice on the most effective way to track URLs in general? Our marketing
agency recently changed its microsite to the Drupal framework and we
Happy Friday, ACC!I started noticing large amounts of referral traffic
from "Other Websites" and when I dug into the traffic I found out it is
from email blasts we've paid for. The referring websites (e.g.
mgclicks.com, take5tracking.com) are not the name of the vendors we paid
to run these email blasts. When I looked at the test emails from this
email-vendor the links on the emails goes to our website and do not show
as a redirect link. Does anyone know why an email vendor would use a
Hey Nikitarama, Sorry for such a late response. Our team is circling
back on this and we're trying to understand what type of lead was
created from these articles? We have about 70+ different types of
leads/products they could have inquired about. We just want to know
which articles/blogs are yielding leads for which products.
Happy Friday!Quick question that I need some clarification on-I always
assumed the referral type for banner/display ads would be "Other
Website"...is this correct? Second Question: We did some advertising
with a vendor and they drove a very high amount "typed/bookmark"
traffic. Is there any other sources in the "typed/bookmark" traffic
besides some email, typing in our site directly into UR, or bookmarked
tabs? Thank you for your continued help, ACC!
Hi nikitarama,Yes, this is precisely what I am trying to see! This
Youtube video from AA was helpful but I'm still having difficulty: Using
Participation Metrics in Analysis Workspace - YouTube Here's the

Also tried to create a path where a lead exists.
I am trying to see which articles are causing users to take an eventual
path to completing a lead. Please take a look and let me know if I am
thinking about this path in the correct way?I used the fallout path to
see which users who have viewed a specific segment of articles and took
an eventual path to completing a lead. According to the report, there
are 25 visitors who have done this. How do I find which articles lead
these 25 visitors to complete a lead? Thanks for your help and continual
Hi AAC, Happy new year! The number of "Leads Completed" in AA is quite a
bit lower than the actual leads we received in our CRM. I cannot find a
rhyme or reason why this happening (tried cleaning the data in the CRM,
and even matched the timestamps to verify leads were not in AA. GA
doesn't exactly match our CRM either, but it is still close. Anyone know
the reasons why this metric might not be counting our unique leads
correctly? Thanks for all of your help in pointing us in the right
Voting up! This would be very useful for our office as well. In
addition, is there a way to be able to schedule a workspace project from
my work email and not the "firstname.lastname@example.org" email. This is often
confusing to recipients. Thank you, AAC!
Thank you, Saurabh! We think it had something to do with our importer -
our web director ran the uploaded manually this morning and didn't get
any errors. All of the parent data for our name reports were restored to
their former titles. Thanks again for your quick response! Jordan

STRONGLY supporting this issue and the comments. For our purposes, the
need for a good presentation of data for meeting with clients goes
hand-in-hand with the analytics. As the analyst, I'm often asked to
print out data on very short notice so being able to easily
paginate/download into separate pages/print panels cleanly without
cutting off or truncating would be a huge win!In the meantime, does
anyone have recommendations on what they use to organize/present data
