Re: What does $ mean? jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,Thank you for the reply. I think your reply's accurate. So the body script for the vlookup function as I have it:body="vlookup($lookup_value, $Table_array, $Col_index_num, $Range_lookup)"/>is incorrect. As the vlookup as 4 arguments, the body script should be instead:body="vlookup($1, $2, $3, $4)"/>And during the function call, I would simply pass the column fields or xpath name that corresponds to each argument, i.e., since the vlookup syntax is: vlookup(lookup_value, Table_array, Col_index_n...

Use of Sub-item option inside Query activity jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Can anyone give an example of how one would use a sub-item inside the Add data/edit additional data option the query activity? As per Adobe's documentation, the add sub-item option lets you attach computed data to the collection. This lets you select the additional data from the collection or define aggregate calculations on collection elements. Can anyone give use case examples?

Re: What does $ mean? jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,Adobe provides documentation on developing and importing custom functions:https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC/en/CFG_API_Adding_additional_SQL_functions.htmlThis is the sample function raw code that Adode provides above:body="extract(year from age($1))-18"/>So I've developed the following vlookup function:body="vlookup($lookup_value, $Table_array, $Col_index_num, $Range_lookup)"/>So is the xpath syntax correct:body="vlookup($lookup_value, $Table_array, $Col_index_num, $Range_lookup)"/>Or i...

Re: Vlookup formula in List of Functions jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
So the syntax is relatively simple:Where $lookup_value, $Table_arry, $Col_index_num, $Range_lookup would be the actual xpath fields (i.e., columns or fields) that represents the values ($xpath field (attribute or column) for lookup_value, $xpath field (attribute or column) for Table_array, $xpath field (attribute or column) for Col_index_num, $xpath field (attribute or column) for Range_lookup).Can someone validate this based on their own experience?

What does $ mean? jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Can anyone tell me what the php code ($) in the following documentation and elsewhere in AC documentation, mean?Is it php? If so, why is php embedded there? I thought Adobe Campaign does not process php.If not php, what is it? JavaScript? XML? What does it mean; I believe it is an assigned value, but I am trying to find it's origin (whether it's php, js, or xml. Can't find it online, other than php.):

Re: Vlookup formula in List of Functions jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,So I followed the documentation and formulated the following XML to be imported as a package into Campaign:Here is the raw code: ...which follows, I think, the documentation:Here is the template code Adobe provides in the documentation, those blocks of code to be replaced, I've highlighted in red: So my raw code replaces replaces the Adobe's template sample with my own code (in red😞 Yet, when I try to load, (import as a package) I am getting this error:Can anyone defi...

Vlookup formula in List of Functions jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,Can I create vlookup or hlookup formula inside our workflow? The List of Functions under Advanced Parameters doesn't contain either vlookup or hlookup functions:As you know vlookup (or Vertical lookup) searches down the first column of a range for a key and returns the value of a specified cell in the row found.Syntax: VLOOKUP(lookup_value, Table_array, Col_index_num, Range_lookup)So how can we create ad-hoc functions if they are not listed under List of Functions?

Creating Ad-hoc tables jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I'd like to throw this out the community to see the best response:I wish to create an ad-hoc table in our AC instance for the purpose of querying. From what I understand, I can either create a list or another table.A list is a temporary if a convenient way to query that contains data or entities (like indexing) but on a temporary basis. But a list's data can only contain data that's already contained in our database, is this correct? Secondly, ad-hoc tables (a table developed for certain workf...

Regex again in SQL jael91407431 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,In MySQl, we have the ability to query using regex expressions, like:mysql > SELECT name, name LIKE '%ns' ends_in_ns -> FROM department; ...which yields:This example retrieves all the department names (fields) that name ends in “ns” as in "Operations," "Loans."My question is, can we also include regex expressions as part of the value (SQL equivalent of "LIKE" or "INCLUDES," etc. plus regex (for example, "j%n.com" to include all email addresses starting with "j" and ending in "n") to query in ...
