Is there a best practice for recording in Adobe Analytics the date and time that new site versions were released to study the impact the release has on key metrics?

Re: Why do my event-based DTM rules result in no custom link data going to Adobe Analytics? mikea36017390 - Dynamic Tag Management
It turns out I had the 'eu cookies' flag set in the Adobe Analytics Tool configuration within DTM. This causes DTM to silently skip initialization of Adobe Analytics if the sat_track cookie is not set to a value of '1'. It would be helpful to console log this condition to make it more difficult to debug.

Re: Why do my event-based DTM rules result in no custom link data going to Adobe Analytics? mikea36017390 - Dynamic Tag Management
I disabled all rules and created a single new Page Load Rule that sets: eVar1="1"On page load, I see the staging .js lib get loaded from assets.adobedtm.com, but I don't see any calls from the browser to the tracking server. Further, the various debug tools do not report that DTM is loaded, much less any analytics-related data.But...On at least one page load, this was not the case. I saw the expected calls to the tracking server and debug rules indicated that DTM was loaded and Analytics was wor...

Yes. I've confirmed by looking at the .js include and by using debug plugins that I'm using the staging library.

Here is console output from Observpoint plugin:I confess that I find the Adobe Debug plugin a bit confusing and I've not been able to get it to generate any useful output. You are talking about this interface? If so, any clues on how to get interesting data from it?I am using the normal Network tab of the default Chrome debug tools to watch queries coming from the browser and I'm not seeing ANY going to my configured Adobe Analytics tracking servers.Any ideas?

Also - app is pre-production so I can't share a URL with you. We could maybe screenshare, though, if you've got 15 minutes.

Thanks for the advice!I installed the plugin and it confirmed that my rules are firing, but the Network tag of the Chrome debug tools shows no requests being made to my configured tracking server domains. Any idea how to debug why this might be?

Why do my event-based DTM rules result in no custom link data going to Adobe Analytics? mikea36017390 - Dynamic Tag Management
I have a new Web Property and I added the Adobe Analytics tool via manual configuration. I'm fairly confident that the Adobe Analytics tool is correctly configured as I'm seeing data for Visitors and other basic stats in Adobe Analytics Reports.I have created a couple of event-based rules in DTM.The rules trigger in response to clicks on certain DOM elements. I have confirmed that the rules are triggering when expected by adding Javascript tags that make entires in the console.log().I have added...

Why is the Report Suite I just created not visible to me? mikea36017390 - Adobe Analytics
I have limited access to a single Adobe Analytics company.I can create a new Report Suite, but after creation I cannot view the Report Suite in 'Admin -> Report Suites' or among my available Report Suites under 'Reports'.I create a Report Site yesterday and set the 'Go Live' date for today. Is it possible to be assigned permissions that allows a user to create Report Suites that they can't then view? I think I may be in this state.

Hello Muthu,Thanks for the pointer!Any idea what breakdown I can use to generate the 'Device Type' column. I see 'Mobile Device Type' but not something that would seem to include 'Desktop' as a type.Regards,-mike

How can I view browser width by device type (phone, tablet, desktop, etc.)? mikea36017390 - Adobe Analytics
How can I form a report that will let me see browser width by device type?I want a report like:Device TypeBrowser WidthUnique VisitorsPhone36050Phone60075Tablet786109Tablet102487Desktop160057Desktop20484On a related note, these docs do not seem to be inaccurate:Compare browser width/height, screen width/height, and monitor resolution in that I see Browser Width data for ALL visitors both mobile and non-mobile.

DTM / Adobe Analytics - Unable to authenticate via Marketing Cloud mikea36017390 - Dynamic Tag Management
I am logged into DTM directly, not via an Adobe ID.I have a new Web Property and I am trying to add the Adobe Analytics Tool. The option to:Authenticate via: Marketing Cloudis greyed out. That is, I cannot select the radio button next to Marketing Cloud. My Adobe Analytics login IS via Marketing Cloud.Do I have to have access to DTM via Marketing Cloud in order to select this option? Or is there some other issue preventing me from selecting it?
