Godd idea! This is exactly this issue we are running into. We set the listvar to copy the prop and got caught in the 100 character limit. We then had to recode our pagelogic to pass the taxonomy ID's instead of the words. if the listprops had the same field definitions as listvars, we wouldn't have to do this work around. The process to find out about this limitation was a bit frustrating. I hope the idea gets voted up!

We were building segments based on list var and were wondering why items outside the segment were included in evar reports. It took a while to chase it down and learn about "full attribution."
