Per Item Limit on List Props

Instead of a total limit of 100 characters applying to a list prop, it would be ideal if the limit was per each part of the delimited string.

This is already how list vars function. So, the idea here is to mirror that treatment with list props. This would allow sites to pass larger strings so that they do not have to rely upon SAINT to classify smaller values that woudl have to be placed into a list prop.

Godd idea!  This is exactly this issue we are running into. We set the listvar to copy the prop and got caught in the 100 character limit.

We then had to recode our pagelogic to pass the taxonomy ID's instead of the words.  if the listprops had the same field definitions as listvars, we wouldn't have to do this work around.

The process to find out about this limitation was a bit frustrating.  I hope the idea gets voted up!

The capability to capture a delimited list of values and have the tool parse them out is a incredibility useful feature.

The problem in Adobe Analytics is that:

1) List props are virtually useless due to the character limit.

2) there are far to few list vars

I really hope that this gets looked at as it would take a lot of pressure off our 3 very precious list vars. Although give this was logged back in 2013 I don't hold out too much hope :-(

...alternatively just give us a 100 list vars and we'll all be happy :-D
