Right now when I set up an alert, it monitors the entire report suite. I rarely look at the entire data set in the report suite and am not interested in changes overall, but rather changes in specific sub sets of the report suite. Please have the segment that was applied to the report when the alert was set apply to the alert too and have

Taking this to the next level. I would like to be able to see the first page viewed for a section of the site regardless of whatever else was viewed on the site. We would like to understand if visitors tend to view only page within a product section and what that page is.

First Time Visitors to a page or section

Because we are an on-demand solution we have many customers coming to the website to login. Often we would like to know when it was their first time coming to a specific section of the site (a new product, an event) to be able to analyze their behavior and then provide the best offers. I wish that in Discover I could create a segment not just for first time visitors, but first time visitors to a specific section or page of my site.

Restrict report access for API users

Currently giving access to the API gives the user full access to all the reports and metrics for a company within SiteCatalyst. I would love to be able to apply user access restrictions I have in place to users that have access to the Reporting API. For example, I have users in different countries that I want to just give them access to their report suite for the API and since I cannot restrict access I cannot give them access to the API.

I think my comment may not have been clear. Simply put, I would not want to have the bounce from visit #2 attributed to "Spring Promo" campaign for the reasons I mentioned above.

I vote for Bounce Rate for that campaign on the initial click-through, visit #1. The purpose of the Bounce Rate metric in this example is to help me identify how well the campaign/landing page combination drives visitors deeper into my site. Attributing the bounce from visit #2 to the campaign no longer answers that question, and would muddy the data in my opinion. Most of the SiteCatalyst users at my company would only be interested in visit #1 and anything else would confuse them. It would be ...
