There was an issue wherein the Compare Time Periods functionality not working on Calculated Metrics last week. It has been fixed now and you shouldnt see this problem now. If you still do, please submit a ticket with clientcare for us to investigate.
If your domain has been added as an Internal URL Filter, you will not see this domain in the Referrer / Referring Domain reports. The only place where you can see this domain would be Data Warehouse or Data Feeds. Hope this helps.
You would not be able to run Mathematical operations at least within the UI for the sole reason that the evar values even if passed as numerical numbers would be passed as strings. I dont see any ways of this being achieved as per the current system configuration.
