Anyone can share customised Youtube API code to be used as an example for YouTube video tracking via DTM - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Hi DTM experts,Apologies for the silly question but I'm not good with the codes, so I was wondering if anyone can share their customized Youtube API code with the direct call rule code in it to track YouTube video via DTM. I was hoping that I can use this as an example and then customize it for tracking YouTube videos in my site via DTM.Any help would be much appreciated.RegardsSid

Re: Adding DoubleClick floodlight tag on OnClick of a button event in DTM - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
RahulThanks. But if I would like to add a tag, for example, on a video play click, how do I do it? I assume I must need to use a condition which DTM understands to fire this third-party tag. Would you be able to please list the steps taking this example?

Re: DTM: Native support for YouTube API HowTo - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Hi Rahul,For this, I assume I need to first check the change in values in the datalayer and then set the direct call rules based on the desired value in datalayer / window. Is there a function that can check for the change in values in the datalayer / window after the page load?RegardsSid

Re: DTM: Native support for YouTube API HowTo - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Hi Rahul,It isn't using html5, it is just passing the YT video events values in the datalayer. So, can't use html5 'play' event.RegardsSyed

To set this up, create an Event based rule. Under Conditions > Event Type the dropdown has video events under HTML 5 Video. If you need to grab information about the video (e.g. the video src url or other meta data in the video tag), the javascript this object is a reference to the video object for the given e...
