To make this work, all parent nodes of your textfield have be flowed and allow page breaks as well.Assuming the following hierarchy: form1.page1.subformA.subformB.Textfield, then Textfield, subformB, subformA and page1 have to be configured this way.   

This script will return the actual path of the PDF.event.target.path 

The easiest would be the usage of just one content area and placing the two tables side by side in one subform. This subform has to flow left to right and allow page breaks. Between the tables place an empty subform as spacer.

Designer supports macros, which are simply scriptings you can execute from the tools menu. If you need to set up more than one form, it might be worth developing a macro for this purpose.
