You might look for the Inspectors….xml under C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Designer\6.5. It should hold the most of the UI settings.

Please define "title" what you mean by title. Is this a text element on the page that shows a particular title or it it the name of the page in the hierarchy or something else? Please provide some screenshots of how the form looks like and what thing you want to refer to.

In Designer, simply don't check the box for embedding images in the object palette of the image or image field.  

Designer doesn't have impact of how the PDF viewer renders a font. I guess in 100 % view it's all fine, right? So the descrepancies then are just the result of how the PDF viewer renders the scaled fonts on screen. 

You can't change the path during runtime. Just add multiple image fields on top of each other an change their  presence as needed. 

A XFA-based form is just a XDP file in a PDF nutshell. When editing the form in Designer, you're changing the XDP. The surrounding PDF is removed already during opening. Everytime you save the form as a PDF the XDP is packed in a new PDF nutshell, that's why you'll have to apply the password again. 

You can't remove signatures by others, but and only your own. This makes sense because the ability of removing foreign signatures would make the entire idea of signatures obsolete.
