Big thumps up vor this one! This is extremely helpful on situation where you want to compare pages between two periods of time and want to see pages that have gotten most visits by percentages. Without this kind of filtering you always get something like 1000% for pages that had 1 visit two weeks ago and last week had 99 visits. These are just new pages or some other small pages that I don't wan't to see and want to filter those out from my table.

I'm obsessed about SDR, because I have seen what happens if nothing is documented. Big thank you for these tips and links. It is hard to do/find 100% perfect tool/excel for SDR, but to me the real work is to find right kind of process where everyone has 100% commitment for updating SDR. It's not easy on a big organisation and/or when you have multiple people working around tags and especially in the era of TMS where you can so easily populate new variables to the site and documentation is so eas...

Great to hear Jen that you are considering this. (come on people, more votes!) It just sounds strange that after changing this someone would comment "we don't want to see our metrics". So yes, those sounds very edge cases.Should there be some kind of "max height enforced", doesn't sound bad, but would it be confusing for some users? Maybe just having enable/disable options would be just fine, and auto-wrapping enabled by default.

This idea was on the old forum, but after the migration I couldn't find it anymore so I wrote a new one. Curation and variable settings in virtual report suites have helped a lot when we want to adjust variables for certain project etc. However, the basic search in Workspace could need some adjustments and then it would be easier and faster to find right variables (especially for new users).I can think of many kinds of filterings that would be a big help, but filtering by custom variables (or by...

In big companies there are lots of people that would want to see data daily, but not make sense to add thousands new users for Adobe and email reports aren't so effective. Would be fun (and important) feature to make workspace projects available for non-logged-in people (directly or some kind of embed feature). Maybe you could choose option to "public link" and not "share link", and with the public link anyone could open the dashboard with read-only status. Of course would be important to have p...

Everyone is loving this new option to wrap header text in columns, details in here: Column Settings"Lets you wrap the header text in Freeform tables to make headers more readable and tables more shareable. This is useful for .pdf rendering and for metrics with long names."But again cool new setting that is hidden in the column settings. Not all users are finding these settings easily. This is also that kind of setting that I'm having hard to find situation where you wouldn't want to use this? It...

This is one feature that is on my "most wanted" list. BenjaminGaines I tested that detour to exclude reloads with segments and it didn't work -> reloads where still there in flow reports. I did that test months ago, so I can test it again if you know that it should work?

UPDATE: This is duplicate idea, please vote older that has more votes: Allow Filtering report columns/metrics for Limits & RangesI would like to filter dimensions on the freeform table based on the values of metrics. Lets take example:I would like to see only pages that had over 100 pageviews (on the given period) or show only pages that had less than 5 form submission. Simple as this. I believe there is no easy "out of the box" way to do this and seems like not even a detour? There are "greater...

Great to hear Urs. I tend to write in to the description what event/metric you should use by default with certain eVar/prop. Of course, would be better to have some kind of mapping for this. So if you drag "form name (eVar)" to workspace it would then automatically add "form submission (eventX)" as metric (if you have mapped these two in the admin section).Btw, I forgot to write how long description field should be.... don't know, but I'm sure doubling the length could be just enough.

I'm obsessed with documentation and I see the power of descriptions for new users. Sometimes custom dimensions are hard to explain and I have to give detailed examples (in descriptions) what you can do in reporting with certain eVars etc and many times I get the red text saying description is too long in admin section. Also, GDPR is coming and there is pressure to explain more detailed way what and why we collect custom information and since many tend to pull dimensions with descriptions to SDR ...

You can do comparisons with Workspace. Just a minor detail, now comparison difference is with percentages, could have the option to change percentages to numbers? Or is this already possible in some way?Actually, just noticed you can edit "percent change" metric and maybe you can modify that metric and edit to use numbers? Anyway, I guess better to give us "out of the box" option to just click between percentages or numbers? Any comments?

Or would it shown the data (direct traffic) correctly if I would have updated the project? Or is there some kind of other "refresh" probem with this, or is it really so that without this option enabled the breakdown would be always natural search, (because natural search was the first breakdown before the new week)?

Nowadays, we can breakdown by position and this is great. However, I just can’t understand why this setting is turned off by default? Aren’t we always try to breakdown by position = give me TOP something. If there are special cases, we can always manually choose to filter SEO traffic if for some reason we want to always breakdown by SEO in last touch channels, or we could manually filter certain products if we want to week by week just to follow certain products. To me these are special situatio...

I started to write this idea too, but found this one. So lets start to promote again. Ben and others, are there any plans? This would be very useful even just for Workspace projects.Sometimes there is no time to make perfect naming process with taggings to make it easier to clean these later, and sometimes services will end and you are left with unnecessary segments and calculated metrics. You can always delete your workspace projects, but that doesn’t clean/delete those segments and calculated ...

At first, I thought sending question to ClientCare but since this probably is a feature and not a bug, I decided to wrote in idea exchange. In Workspace you can right-click on a component and choose to add tags. Love this feature, you can tag your favorite KPI variables and events etc. I loved this feature even more when I noticed that other users can see my tags also. This way it so much easier to find what you looking for (at least for new users and product owners that are not so familiar with...

Give us a checkbox to search only from one report suite that project is using, and option to search from all report suites. Now default way seems to be all report suites, which is great, but sometimes very confusing when you get lots of search results.

Now it feels that variables are displayed in random order when using search. Would be helpful if we could filter results (no matter is it variable or segment or whatever) alphabetically:asomething (eVar4)bsomething (eVar56)csomething (eVar13)dsegmentecalculated metric…and so on.

There are custom variables (props and eVars, and of course events as well) and then there are out of the box or should I say default variables and metrics. Would be great, if again I could have the option to search just among custom variables or among default variables. Let's say product owner knows we are using some kind of custom variable where we have put e.g. mobile billing information, but he can't remember it was eVar86. He starts to search with word "mobile", but then he sees over 20 defa...

When I search "eVar1", I get all kinds of eVars where there is just number 1 included. In ideal situation, search result would show first "eVar1" and not "eVar11" or "eVar19" etc. If I look "eVar25" I get 2 results "eVar25" and "eVar52". So search should interpret exact match only, or again we should option to use exact search or wider search. Or ideal situation would be that search results would be divided to two parts:exact match:eVar1(empty space)Contains match:eVar19eVar11eVar1 and so on.

Every variable (eVars and props) seems to have out of the box "instances" metrics available. I believe I have never used instances as metric, I mean at least by choosing e.g. "eVar16 instances" etc. eVars are always associated with some event, so I use events or maybe just visits when analyzing eVars. Would be great if I could block these eVar/prop instances metrics from Workspace search. I guess this could be again solved in the admin section where admin could choose are some out of the box met...

In workspace you can tag even props, eVars and events etc. Right-click the dimension in Workspace navigation/search and you have the option to add tags. I tested this, and other users can also see my tags. So I could make e.g. 10 kpi metrics with #kpi tag and this way product owners will easily find all the metrics that matter. Love it!!! Of course it would be better if admins could add/modify/delete all tags directly from admin section where e.g. eVar variables are listed nicely on the same pag...

I’m training people to use Workspace in our office. They love the flexibility to do “everything” compared to old interface. However, sometimes they are bit confused where they can adjust different things. Then it hit me, all the gear icons (settings) are invisible and other settings are behind of right-clicking. As analyst, I love that there are so little “noise” in the projects/reports… but this is adding quite a learning curve for new users to find different settings and to understand you can ...

And everytime you add new metric to table then it automatically changes the filtering, I mean if you use date (e.g. week as dimensions). I have like this, because, I always want to see newest data:Week 3Week 2Week 1 But after adding new metric it goes like this:Week 1Week 2Week 3 And again I have to click to choose it differently. So all these different settings would be great to have in the project settings and there I could choose all the possible default setting for panel/table level settings...

Like the idea. Nowadays, we have to do own javascript coding for this one. Something like this:s.eVar1 = window.location.href;s.eVar1 = s.eVar1.replace(/(\?|&)(firstName=)[^&]*(&|$)/i,"$1$2$3");Would be of course easier if there would be default function just for this.
