Hide the submit button (like you did), but then add a regular button that calls the hidden submit button when the validation returns true.Something like this (from memory):if(yourvalidation == true){ hiddensubmit.execEvent("click");}That way the hidden submit button should only be called when the statement is true.See if that helps.Jasmin

Unfortunately no.LiveCycle Designer can import XFT file that were created by FormFlow, but won't be able to save back as XFTs. It'll convert the file to an XDP.Jasmin

I don't believe there's an API for that. The reason is there is not a 1:1 relationship with the Job and the Task or Process.A Job might include multiple processes or tasks. Now I believe you want to know on which current process or task the job is waiting for.Again, there is no API, but you should be able to figure it out by querying the database. Howerver this is not supported and is at your own risk.Jasmin

As mentioned in this post, you need to set the "target" property of the submit button dynamically using scripting. As for the filename, I don't believe we can control the name of the file. It'll use the name of the pdf document.Jasmin

ok. I'm not sure if that's what you were trying to do in your render process, but you could merge data which contains the WSDL url of the Web Service and dynamically change it that way.Jasmin

Another appoach could be tu use a variable and make it of type "Configuration". That way the variable can be set from adminui once the application is deployed and you don't need to hard code the value in your process.Jasmin

One option is to use the XSLT Transformation service to get from XML to TXT or CSV. You can search on google to find XSL examples. The other option would need to write some code in the Execute script or create a custom component to do that manually in Java.Jasmin

Unfortunately you can't. You have to hardcode the name of the error in the email message. You could also attach the server.log to the email. It's not ideal, but it gives more info.Jasmin

I'm not sure I understand you question, but you could add the users to the group and just add the group to the application. That way if you need to add a new user, you don't have to change all the applications that are using that group.Jasmin

The [&version=] parameter refers to the version of the application.I just created a test process and looked at the wsdl, the version was 1.0.I then created a new version of the application and the version parameter was bumped to 2.0.Jasmin

The application concept didn't exist in LC 8.2. It only started in version 9.0.However, if you want to submit XML you should be able to just change the submit button's properties on the xdp and make sure it submits just XML and not XDP data.Jasmin

If you want to use the SetValue service, then you need to make sure to have a parent node for all the repeating nodes and copy that parent node over.Remember, you can't really copy multiple nodes at the same level. The other thing you can do it to use the Script service and use DOM manipulation to create your structure.Jasmin

A few more things from your updated process:1- As stated in my previous post, you need to set the Output/myDoc property on the watch folder endpoint. You can hard code it to ouput.pdf or use something like %F.pdf to give it the same name as the input file.2- If you want to pass multiple files an input parameters (xml + pdf), you need to put them in a subfolder and drop the subfolder in the input folder, otherwise it's going to invoke the process twice instead of once with the two files.3- Leave ...

Ok. I did a mistake. I don't think it worked without the Application. I think I ran the wrong version. Now I realized the input parameter is of type "document".I think it actually expects the XDP and not the path to the XDP. I used a ReadRessource step to load the XDP in a document variable and passed that as an input and it worked.Jasmin

I got your files except the sample xml file.I generated my own by going in the Form Designer under Form Properties/Preview/Generate Preview Data. Here a few things with you process:1- Make sure your xml file follows the same structure as the one generate from Generate Preview Data.2- You don't want to set the Output/Result property of the Write to File component to myDoc. The Output/Result just contains the actual result of writing the file to the file system (true/false). In your case, you're ov...
