If you use in your browser console, you'll see which rules are fired when their logic is triggered. Where did you want to see it?

I just saw a demo for a date range condition that we expect to release in January. It allows you to set a condition on a rule to specify a start date and an end date. The rule will not fire before the specified start date and will not fire after the specified end date.Importantly, it won't deploy new builds or anything, it'll just set boundaries around when the rule will fire. So when the end date comes, the rule won't fire anymore, but the logic will still be in your deployed library. If you ac...

Till_Buettner 's screenshot above has a highlight colored over the archive option. When you create/edit an environment, there's a toggle to create an archive. If you don't see that on your environments, please let us know the property name/environment name where the archive option isn't showing up (you can also just copy/paste the URL from the environment page) and we'll take a look.A debug library is an unminified library. On Number 1, they were the same height before, we changed them to reflect that you can only have 1 library at a time in those states (as opposed to Dev and Published which can/will have many), so that's why the change was made.On Number 2, I've logged it as a feature request.--DTM-10634

Hey SarahEOwen, I heard back sooner than expected. There is a feature request logged to have an option in the extension configuration to globalize the ' s' object.Until that happens, there are two options to try.1) At the bottom of the extension configuration view for the Analytics extension, there is a custom code box. If you put in that custom code box, that will give you an s object on the page that you should be able to use in the way you'd like it.2) You could also try getting the 's' objec...

Sorry, I think I'm going to have to leave this one for Aaronius9er9er9er to handle. Actually, on second thought, it's the Analytics team (the extension devs) that need to answer that one. I'll see what I can find out.

We'll be adding labels later on. Part of our work initially was to determine what was absolutely necessary for the MVP, and labels didn't make the cut, but they are on the roadmap. The bubbling is still in Launch as part of the Event Configuration screen wherever it makes sense. If you create a rule with the Form Change event, for example, the bubbling options will show up on the right-hand side of the screen and you can configure them before you save the event.

The s object exposed by the Analytics extension is not a global object. You can reference it as 's' from within custom code in Launch, but once it's packaged up and delivered to the page you won't be able to find it (in the browser console for example).

This is an idea that's been talked about for a long time, though the talks have been more serious lately. There are a number of use cases in browser and on mobile that would be solved by this type of functionality.

I'm going to need Aaronius9er9er9er to weigh in here for the real answer. I believe that any custom code blocks will show up as secondary .js files linked to the main .js file. Also, any libraries that are referenced (appmeasurement.js, at.js, etc) will obviously come separately - though they aren't linked in the same way that the ones coming from Launch are.

This is one of the things that is a little more complex in Launch than in DTM in order to provide more flexibility and control. And it is a bit different. I would point your attention to two things that will help in case you haven't seen them already:1) The Add All Changes button2) The "Changed" radio button. This should actually default to on, and when you look at your Rules, Data Elements, or Extensions in that part of the page, by default it will only show you the changes for that particular ...

Unfortunate answer, probably not soon, and our engineering manager is very sad about that. Our security team has concerns about that feature. I don't understand the full technical details, but conceptually, in order to make that work, we have to get the content of the page and read through it in order to grab the css selector that identifies that element you click on. That can be performed on internal company pages that have potentially sensitive information on it. Which is bad. We don't do anyt...

The download/archive option that exists today is for the entire library itself. There is no capability to get a text version of what's in a library for documentation purposes. Soon the API will provide a capability to list the contents of a build (would come as JSON) which could be used for this purpose, but still isn't csv/xlsx. Would the JSON available through the API work for you, or you'd still prefer csv or something similar through a button in the UI?--DTM-10439

Due to the openness of Launch and these configuration screens being controlled by Extension Developers, we actually don't have the ability to do this system wide. There is a feature request logged to do it for the Core Extension, but that is the only one controlled by the Launch team.

We covered this on the Office Hours call, but as a quick recap:This is how the system is designed. Once a library has been submitted, it is on the production pipeline and no other builds can be promoted until the pipeline has been cleared, either by rejecting the library that is in it or by publishing the library to production. This prevents one library from accidentally overwriting changes that were made in a different library.

It has to do with a delay on the Akamai side between when we upload a new file to their Origin, and when that new file is then pushed out to their edge servers, specifically the edge server that is geographically closest to you when you visit the webpage. So the status indicator is the best we can do, which says that the file has been pushed to Akamai's origin. When we do that, we make a request to Akamai to flush their cache so that the latest version goes out to their edge servers, but there is...

There have been many internal conversations on this topic. At this moment, I'd suggest you take a look at the correct answer from one of our developers on this thread: Re: Load Order for Rules :: DTM vs. Launch. That response provides a whole bunch of info on how we use document.write() in DTM and how we use it in Launch. In Launch it only gets used for Page Top and Page Bottom rules, so if you can avoid those I think you'll never see it. That should be simpler once we get an MCID ready event to...

It will be different than it is in DTM. You can view it directly now if you configure an Environment for Archive, then publish a build to that environment and hit the download link. I will ask one of the developers to provide more details on what changes you'll see and the rationale for them.

Other extensions can provide other event types, condition types, and exception types, but currently, the Core extension is the only one that I know of that does. This just means the Facebook extension doesn't provide any conditions. But you can absolutely mix and match within a rule and pull events and conditions from the Core extension, but use an action from the Facebook extension.

Can you explain a little bit more exactly what you mean? Every time you save custom code in a code editor, you'd want there to be a version history for that specific code block? Maybe the ability to look at previously saved versions and revert to one? Just trying to understand how you'd envision this working.

Migrated from Alpha--It is really hard to tell through the publishing interface what code or items (data elements, rules, extensions, etc.) are currently deployed to each environment. It would be nice to have a UI that says what items are deployed on which environments. For example, in the screen shot, I created a library, built it, and then submitted for approval and it currently sits in the submitted queue. So, now my question is “What is deployed to which environment right now?” I imagine that ...

Migrated from Alpha--UX Flow of this page needs a little tweeking so the user knows where they are at all times and what they’ve completed. Leave rule components where they are when creating conditions (events, actions, etc) so the user knows where they are at all times. Just expand and close the window.
