Thank you, but I had my work purchase this program for me so that I
could have Dynamic forms. Very much needed for what I am trying to do.
Are you basically saying I can't make a HTML form with the program I
have? So there would be no way around my forms opening in Chrome/Safari
Hi, I have ES4 (I am just teaching myself all aspects at the moment so
bear with me please!)I finally finished a major form, and uploaded to
our website to test. As this will be viewed by many different people, I
cannot decide how they will open it (e.g. which browser they will open
it in etc.) I opened it in Internet Explorer and all seems fine. And
then I attempted in Google Chrome, which resulted in the Please Wait...
screen.I thought maybe I could bypass this by forcing it to download by
I have a form which has messageBoxes that pop up when the form is
opened, and the user fills out the questions in these boxes, which then
uses the data to fill out the form for them. Is there a way to lock the
form once those boxes have been used so they are left with an uneditable
PDF which they can then print?
Basically, I have created two pop up boxes which First Box: Asks the
Client NameSecond Box: Asks the Renewal MonthOnce these have been
answered, the fields on the form, have the answers in them. Cool.
Done..Now I am hoping, that the answer in the Renewal Month text field,
will make another text field change, depending on the answer. (In the
following examples, each Jan, Feb, Mar etc. are separate text
fields.)Example 1:Client Name: John SmithRenewal Month: JanuaryJan Feb
Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug ...
I had made it a Text Object, as I couldn't figure out how to have two
captions (The Question, and then the answers next to the checkboxes? What
would I use for the "Example Question 2" so it can still be made with
code in it?For example:Example Question 2 o Answer 1 o Answer 2 o Answer
Good morning!I have a form which requires some questions to be answered
depending on the previous answer. If it is not needed, the next question
stays hidden. BUT then we realised, if someone decides to print out the
form to then fill it out, unfortunately the hidden fields obviously do
not print. I have been using the PrePrint event and using the
codethis.presence = "visible";into each field.I was just wondering if
there was an easier or a bulk way to set "all" Hidden fields to visible
IF the f...
Bear with me please, I am new to LiveCycle!I am currently creating a
form, which some questions are not required unless a particular answer
is selected, So I am hoping to have the optional questions hidden from
layout until an answer is selected and if the question is needed it will
become visible. This has been fine, but I realised that if someone wants
to print out the form to fill it out, obviously those hidden questions
are not printed. So I started adding a script in the event "prePrint"
I have seen answers for this question, but nothing that helps me
specifically for what I want. I am new to Livecycle (Previously used
Adobe Acrobat Pro to make interactive forms)In Adobe I used to be able
"EXAMPLE";var cSubLine = "FORM NAME - " +
this.getField("XXXXXX").value;var cBody = "Dear XXXXX" + ",\n\n" +
"Please find attached the FORM NAME for " +
