Hi, We have a requirement in which we need to customize the archive component in social/blog, so that number of blogs created in a particulat component is also displayed[for e.g. Oct 2009(4)]The OOTB component has the following lines only <%= I18n.get(resourceBundle, "Archives") %> <%= xssAPI.filterHTML(blog.getArchiveAsHTML(0, dateFormat, resourceBundle)) %> The categories component in geometrix blog page shows something similar to this. But again i could not find the code for it.Can some one ...

Hi Jai,When you said you did something similar... did you use the Blog template or copy a Geomtrixx page? You're referencing the AEM 5.6.1 documentation. What version of the social communities package do you have? See https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/developing/DevelopingWithSocialCommunities.html#Latest%20ReleasesFor more specific help, it may be necessary to open a support ticket :https://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/experience-manager.html- JK

Refer [1] for the different letters you can use to get the respective format. I think you are using 'Y' now and hence your output is in the respective format.ex: you should use 'ago' as the keyword for 1 day ago [1] http://wem.help.adobe.com/enterprise/en_US/10-0/wem/javadoc/index.html?com/day/cq/commons/date/RelativeTimeFormat.html

Hi,As Scott stated, it is recommended that to build the OSGI bundle through Maven from Adobe Archetype project.See the AEM support page as given by scott: https://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/experience-manager.html , as there are so many community articles based on Adobe Archetype to build OSGI bundle. Thanks,Ratna Kumar.

Hi,in the first case the node metadata located below the parent node is used (so "metadata" is a sibling to the current node), in the second case the node "metadata" below the current node is (a childnode). Depends on your node structure, if there are such nodes.kind regards,Jörg

Thanks for the response. I some how figuredout how the OOTB search component works. The xpathquery formed is /jcr:root/content/farmers-blog/*[not(fn:name() = 'unlisted')]/*/element(*, cq:Page)[jcr:contains(., '{searchquery1}') or jcr:contains(., '{searchquery2}')] But this does not work for date. I could not make a search using date. Should there be any changes made in xpathquery formed??

You are showing Query Builder API. See here for more information about how to use this in a tool and more syntax examples. http://cq-ops.tumblr.com/post/23543240500/how-to-use-cqs-query-debugger-toolYou can also use JCR SQL to query dates. Here is more information on using JCR SQL to query dates:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15117075/jcr-sql2-query-comparing-dates

Hi,there is not enough information to understand why this is happening. It may not necessarily be a custom authentication handler. Is it a publish instance? Could it be CUG they are using?Regards,Opkar

Another use case for defining 2 dialogs is one for Touch UI and the other for Classic UI. https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-touchui-component.html

Usually UGCs will not be purged unless the blog/content itself is purged/archived. so there is nothing OOTB for this. If its a kind of business decision, you can handle it with the event handler as you mentioned either with the number of child nodes or based on the created date etc...

Hi,regarding your first question, please [1].To your second question: It's more likely, that you migrated from TarPM to TarMK 🙂 You can see it as an instance of the segmentMK, and there's a good description of the content of the files in the Oak documentation [2].HTH,Jörg [1] https://cqdump.wordpress.com/2015/07/09/1000-nodes-per-folder-and-oak-orderable-nodes/[2] https://jackrabbit.apache.org/oak/docs/nodestore/segmentmk.html

When you have access to the machine where AEM is running, you can drop a content package containing the /home/a/admin user in the install folder (below crx-quickstart; if it doesn't exist, create it). It will picked up and hopefully overwrite the existing admin password.kind regards,Jörg

The Blog feature did not change from 5.6.1 to 6.0 because it needed to be reworked into the Social Communities Framework (SCF). In AEM 6.1, the Blog components and templates are deprecated and the Journal components have been renamed the Blog feature (a feature named 'Journal' no longer exists).Since the Blog feature was not updated in 6.0, it still uses the deprecated Comments code. It's only a warning. Why was this done? The 6.0 and earlier implementation of the Blog feature was template based ...

Hi Jai1122,If you leave out the cq-quickstart dependency, what classes are not found? I recommend you open a Daycare support case with the details as it is not obvious to me what quickstart dependency to use for 5.6.1. Is it possible for you to upgrade (ideally to 6.1)?
