Yajiv:If you are sure that no one changed it, chances are that your appserver's JDBC connection pool has lost connections to the database.  Check the appserver logs.

You won't get technical support from Adobe if you do this.However, to answer your question - Forms ES, Output ES and possibly PDF Generator ES are out of the question.  This is because Forms and Output use XMLForm which is a C++ component.

They can be safely deleted.

Because of trouble people are having with this huge download (14 GB), we have pulled it.  We are working on a next generation appliance (much smaller) which we're hoping to make available in a couple of months.

PDFGenerator is one of many services within LiveCycle that can be individually licensed but it will still require a J2EE appserver to run on top of.

Yes.Please also note that unlike Adobe Document Server, LiveCycle requires a J2EE appserver such as IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss or Oracle WebLogic.
