Paul,Yes I did set up a connection.  I can see the table that I selected in my data view.  The data does display in my dd list but not in sequential order.Aside from my data, what's worrying me is I don't seem to be able to generate a list manually ie "Specify Item Values" is greyed outthanks,Paul
