As you mentioned, tags xtype itself will take multiple inputs. So you can customize the tags widget and put the min and max validation within it.

Ex: For Jquery 1.7.2 , if you goto http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.efsavage.jquery/jquery-maven/1.7.2it list all the dependency package/bundle as well and in this case it is 'javax.servlet-api'

if its an external bundle, all that dependency would be mentioned in its mvn page itslef

I think that is because you are using bundlestop=stop in your command instead try using bundlestart=start

AEM 6.0 with SP2 will support Java 8 aswell. As its compatible from java 6, there shouldnt be any impact.

There is no actual discovery document from Adobe as its a general phase of any project. Experience would help and also you can google around the same for some idea
