Are you using resolveNode? I find sometimes when i am having trouble I do that and it works. I have never need to hide a master page, it should be attached to the page itself. Check your references.ie:this.resolveNode("topmostSubform.CoverLetter").presence = "hidden";

Hi,I would just add a button with the following code:form1.#subform[0].Button1::click - (JavaScript, client)form1.access = "protected"; //disable everythingthis.presence = "hidden"; //hide this buttonClicking the button will lock all the fields and hide the button. Of course, you cant go back after this without having another button to "open" the form.

Without seeing it makes it a bit hard to help.However, i got my start in Livecycle with the tutorials. The Purchase Order tutorial will be very helpful for learning calculations using FormCalc and tables. Thanks for your comments. I am glad to help. We were all learners at some stage. I am still learning things now You can make the console show automatically when errors are thrown - In Acrobat, go to Edit > Preferences and in the Javascript options check this box (below).

Hi,I dont know if it is related, but i find when something is not referenced correctly, the form stops processing.When i clicked a radio button in table 2 or 3, the javascript console threw an error. Not on just one radio button, but many. Invoke the debugger with CTRL+J when you preview the form.I find it hard to look at an unfamiliar form but I looked through the code for the checkbox - form1.Page2.Table3Sec1.Row2.cb16::change - (JavaScript, client)I searched for Row14 in the code and it refer...

I would put it in a dropbox or google drive and post a link here.Failing that, post some screens of the form hierarchy and maybe the radio button code.

Hi,radzmar's solution would replace your code.If you dont want to go down the often confusing route of 'for statements', what you have would be placed in a button click. If you want to do multiple rows at the same time, you will have to write that code in as well. I have done that before. If your subform is limited to the amount of rows that can be added, you only have to write a finite amount of code.

Hi martynd4832568,You may need to copy each row with it's specific instance reference.The first repeating row in the table with be specified with [0], second row [1], third row [2] and so on.Assuming which is the repeating row. Copying the first row actionItem rawvalue would be something like this.this.resolveNode("Archive_Page.Table1.Row1.SubForm2.Table2.Row1[0].actionItem").rawValue = this.resolveNode("Main.Table1.Row1.SubForm2.Table2.Row1[0].actionItem").rawValue;For the second physical row ...

Hi,I have never had a problem with it taking so long, but have you thought about using a button to clear both using resetData code? Worth a try?form1.#subform[0].Button1::click - (JavaScript, client)//reset signature fields and nothing else on the form.xfa.host.resetData("SignatureField1");xfa.host.resetData("SignatureField2");

Hi,You will need to place the code in the click event of all radio button items. The null code wouldnt be needed then, when you click the other button in the group, it will re-execute the code. Your suggested code and my example below doesnt handle if one is yes and one is no.You can use the same code in all 4 click events (javascript).if(Page1.Content.mulChoice1.rawValue == "2" & Page1.Content.mulChoice2.rawValue == "2"){Page1.Content.textField.presence = "visible";}if(Page1.Content.mulChoice1....

Good job in figuring it out.You can also reference an object by using this.resolveNode. Using this, the form will search from top down for the first instance that matches. I have found there are times where a code isn't working for me and when i add the code it then works. Usually happens when working in a table. I usually just resolveNodes anyway now days just to save problems later. It isnt always required and depends on the size of your form.eg: Page5.Table4Sec3_1.Table4Sec3_1_Row3.cbNV3.rawV...

Hi originalien,In the change event (javascript) for the A, B and C checkboxes add the code:if(CheckBoxA.rawValue == "1" & CheckBoxB.rawValue == "1" & CheckBoxC.rawValue == "1") //if A, B and C are checked. Check D{CheckBoxD.rawValue = "1";}if(CheckBoxA.rawValue == "0" | CheckBoxB.rawValue == "0" | CheckBoxC.rawValue == "0") //if A, B OR C are unchecked, uncheck D{CheckBoxD.rawValue = "0";}D is checked when all others are checkedIf any of the A, B or C boxes are not checked. D is unchecked.

Hi eugzl,I havent had a lot of fun with time calculations but here is something i worked up to change hours into days and hours. You can modify it further as needed. This might get you closer to what you are after.I have a NumericField with the hours total and a TextField to display the result. In the exit event of the NumericField (you could put it elsewhere. I have this: form1.#subform[0].NumericField2::exit - (JavaScript, client)var hours = NumericField2.rawValue; //You can replace this with ...

I would actually do it in FormCalc.This is what i did:I created a repeating table (the row cells are all Date/Time Fields (Object/Binding tab/Data Format set to Time)I also had a Total numericField and a button to repeat the rowsIn the subTotal Calculate (FormCalc) event i have:var startTime = Time2Num(this.resolveNode("fromTime").formattedValue, "HH:MM")var finishTime = Time2Num(this.resolveNode("toTime").formattedValue, "HH:MM")var total = Num2Time(this.resolveNode("subTotal").formattedValue, ...

Just some thoughts....You could also try specifically naming your subforms rather than using the autonumbering when the same name is used. I found that the number in square brackets in an object name interfered with the reference to an instance which is also a number in square brackets.Eg: instead of cb[1], have cb1 etcUsing resolveNode has also fixed some issues i have had as well with subforms.

This option isn't there in my version ES2 (9.0.0.2).I use an ASCII shortcut. Hold ALT, press 7 on the numpad, release ALT - that gives a bullet •It isnt a list though.

Weird. I created a table - one row, two radio buttons. I also created a button to add an instance and the new row gets new unselected radio buttons.If you are still having difficulty, you could always just change the raw value after creating the new instance, but you would need to used the instance manager to target the correct instance to change the rawValue of.Unselected originalOne RB selectedNew instance created, RB not duplicated

Great stuff. Sometimes the simplest option is the best. All my code is very uncomplicated, it is larger, but it works which is my desired outcome.
