Dispatcher and multiple sites - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hi,I was wondering how we can use the AEM dispatcher to point to the landing page of a website in the publish instance. At the moment, I have a working dispatcher that is rendering content from the publish instance from the / directory. In other words, http://myserver is serving the same content as http://myserver:4503 (which is my publish instance). My publish instance has the geometrixx and geometrixx-outdoor sites. How can I configure the dispatcher so that users who go to http://myserver wil...

Re: Trouble setting up Dispatcher with vhost config and sling mappings - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Yogesh Upadhyay wrote... This mean that your sling:mapping is not getting matched with request. May be try this, If this does not work change "Day CQ Root Mapping" config from config manager to point to /content/site/index.html Also I feel that your this rewrite rule is wrong for request with /content in it, RewriteRule ^/(.*)$ /content/site/$1 [PT,L] You should exclude any thing that starts with /content in this rule, Something like (otherwise you might have /content/site appended to that requ...

Trouble setting up Dispatcher with vhost config and sling mappings - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
https://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/deploying/dispatcher/disp_domains.htmlHi,I am trying to setup my web dispatcher so that users who browse to http://myserver.com will go through the following process1. client gets routed to http://myserver.com/index.html2. web server will check dispatcher to see if /var/www/htdocs/content/site/index.html exists. if exists, serve page. if does not exist, go to 3.3. dispatcher routes to the publish instance and get /content/site/index.html from the repository...

Configure Sling Mapping for Resource Resolution - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hi,I am referring to this article http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/deploying/resource_mapping.html to configure resource mapping. I am using my publish instance with Geometrixx sites.I created the mapping that prefixes any request to http://myserver:4503/ with /content: This works somewhat correctly. With the mapping, when I browse to http://myserver:4503, I get rerouted to http://myserver:4503/geometrixx/en/toolbar/account/login.html?resource=%2Fgeohome&$$login$$=%24%24login%24%24 The page...

Re: -> GET /libs/cq/core/content/welcome.html HTTP/1.1 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Thank You! The history was the culprit. After setting the showHistory property to false for damadmin and siteadmin, the welcome.html page is loading like lightning!

-> GET /libs/cq/core/content/welcome.html HTTP/1.1 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hi,In our CQ instance, a GET request for libs/cq/core/content/welcome.html takes 23.8 seconds. Are there ways to troubleshoot the load time for this page? We tried 1. loading the page again after the initial try, but the response time is still over 20+ seconds. 2. tailing the error log and found nothing that would explain a long loading timeWe are hitting the CQ instance directly and bypassing the dispatcher. Any tips?Thank you.

Re: Troubleshooting resource mapping - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Thank You Justin. We removed the component with text content and the page rendered links correctly. We are asking the content author to review the text/html they are putting in to make sure they are all well formed.

Troubleshooting resource mapping - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hi,We have a template page (let's call it templateA) where we have built pages with. Let's say we have pages pageA and pageB. The constructed page pageA works correctly. All links (for eg. /content/global/en_us/index/solutions/index.html) are resource mapped correctly (eg /solutions/index.html). However, the constructed page pageB works incorrectly. All links do not get resource mapped. We are trying to find out why this is happening. We have tailed the logs and we did not find any errors that w...
