Hi, If you are looking for a column "condition update" in a project report, choosing "project --> condition update" should show any latest updates made on the project comments/ update section. 

I would suggest assigning to teams vs job role.If we use "Team" for assignments each member in the team will be able to get to work on it/ self-assign it to themselves. If we use "Job Roles" function might need to be assigned by someone else.
