  • Hi John, You should be able to change the Duration Type to Calculated Work to accomplish that. If you put in the dates and use Calculated Work, then you just change the Allocation % on the Assignment and it'll change the Planned Hours. Let me know if I'm missing something.

  • Hi Susan, I've noticed it doesn't always show unless you have the right view displayed. Looks like you have a Grouping turned on. I'm betting if you remove the Grouping, it'll reappear for you. It doesn't seem to like Grouping.

  • Hi Josh, Love both these ideas!!!! I'm with David, I like the shifting dates because I like the truth in my plans  . It tells me if I need to reassign or move a task or just let the date move. Deadlines don't change, but my plan should show me where I'm tracking. I can see how a setting would be us...

  • Definitely what Kathrine & Kirsten said. I usually explain the differences to our folks as they said. The I add the phrase: They are virtually the same in technical functionality with the following exceptions. An Issue can't have: Predecessors Subtasks And there are 4 types of Issues – and this wher...

I like the shifting dates because I like the truth in my plans :). It tells me if I need to reassign a task or just let the date move. I can see how a setting would be useful so if you don't want the dates to move, you have that option. My only concern is, the unintended consequence that PM's don't ...

  • Hi Vazgen, I filled out the form, but thought I'd throw this out there for the long term solution. Instead of a standard format, allow it to be data driven and entered by us and allow us to have a different standard for each request queue. We use the API to rename most requests. For example, New Hir...

  • Yeah we use the API to rename our requests to a standard naming convention (and include variable custom form fields). So I can see this being super useful.
