@Ganthimathi_R If message if the main tab and item0 and item1 are sub-tabs and title1 and title2 are text fields under item0 and item1 respectively. Try name property value of title1 is ./message/item0/title1 similarly for title2 ./message/item1/title2

@ShagunMalik Are you sure you have at-least one ul tag in page? If there is no ul tag in DOM, document.querySelector("..") will return null.

Have a normal button and on click of that button get input field value and do an AJAX call. This way user will be on same page and you can use existing variables...
