Re: How do I: grey out text areas if they are selected as not required? - Adobe LiveCycle 03-11-2009
Thanks for the reply. What do I have to do to create the trigger? Is there something simple I can do from the palettes or do I have to script this?Im not familiar with scripting. Is it a mammoth task?

How do I: grey out text areas if they are selected as not required? - Adobe LiveCycle 03-11-2009
Hello, again.I have a form which the user can enter info in text fields or check a checkbox to N/A the whole section. I would like to grey out the relevant text fields if the user chooses to N/A the section. I would also like to have other N/A check boxes automatically crossed if the user checks the main n/a box. There are many of these on the form so hoping it would be fairly simple and straigtforward?Your help, as always, is very much appreciated.Stephanie

Linking Checkboxes to Fields, Part 2 - Adobe LiveCycle 16-07-2009
I recently got a great reply for solving my question on how to disengage fields when a checkbox is selected - thank you very much! As this form I have can have many fields, some mixed field types that can be disengaged under one checkbox. Do I have to call each of these out when I write the script? How could I do this simply? This form has many sections like this!Your help is much appreciated.

When I click it stays grey but loses two sides of its border, click again it goes white, click again it goes grey and uneditable. Im not sure what I did but I have matched the code and replaced the fi...

Word Import Q - Adobe LiveCycle 17-03-2009
Hi,Having import issues, not sure if this is just something you just have to put up with.I converted a word doc into PDF as I dont have XP or Word 2003. The PDF does not read the word checkboxes as a checkbox, so therefore LiveCycle doesnt. As there are a LOT of checkboxes, is there anyway to avoid having to create each individual new checkbox via LiveCycle? Also why did headers not import over? The headers are blank in LC....I did a search for some info but found nothing. All help appreciated,St...
