If you are talking about a native app, iOS or Android, you should add the SDK for the operating system and use the API provided with it to do the tracking. I wasn't even aware that you could use Launch Scripts in an app, unless you are using PhoneGap/Cordova and have a plain webapp.

You can easily replace the first two hashed parts as they never change. As thebenrobb wrote they represent company and property. The third hash is like a build number and changes with every build. The last hash one only changes if you update the Analytics Extension.

I just now had a very annoying case:I opened a rule and an action within. I was discussing something in the custom code for 5 minutes, made a change and saved it and got an error. Apparently I was logged out in this few minutes when I was looking at the custom code and made a small change.
