Re: blocking /content/dam/.permissions.json?privileges= jcr%3AmodifyAccessControl - Adobe Experience Manager 28-02-2019
Thanks Peter,it has major effect for admins, I would take it as not to block since it has its dis effects. I would raise with Adobe to see what they actually can do about it.

blocking /content/dam/.permissions.json?privileges= jcr%3AmodifyAccessControl - Adobe Experience Manager 28-02-2019
Recently we had our security tests in the platform, where one finding raised critical was the request sent to /content/dam/.permissions.json?privileges= jcr%3AmodifyAccessControl under cross site scripting tampering the request to execute script.now the question, will there be any impact in author if I block .permissions.json/* requests in dispatcher ? does it affect any functionalities ?Thank you,

Re: SVG file not getting imported in AEM DAM - Adobe Experience Manager 17-09-2018
I tried debugging the uploaded asset with DAM Mime type service and it is getting detected as "image/svg+xml"com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.mimeType.DamMimeTypeServiceImpl DAM Mime Type Service detected mimeType for test3.svg as: image/svg+xmlhowever when I allow the config in DAM asset restriction configuration it doesn't upload and gives error message, it uploads only when all MIME type is selected.

SVG file not getting imported in AEM DAM - Adobe Experience Manager 12-09-2018
We have DAM Asset upload restriction configuration turned on in OSGI to allow specfic file types to DAM.We have added "image/svg+xml " in the list to allow SVGhowever still ASSET upload fails with the below log,com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.servlet.CreateAssetServlet Unsupported Media Type - RIC-model-16x9.svg:image/svg+xml when the restriction is removed and all filetypes are allowed, this gets added in the DAM.
