  • Thanks guys. You confirmed what I suspected. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some official guidance esp. with alot of the changes needed to support working on Cloud Service.

  • Looking to see if there's a best practice defined anywhere. The newer archetypes use the concept of the "core" maven project for all the java related code that typically goes in a bundle. I have a codebase that's been in use since the 5.x days which consists of multiple custom bundles with varying l...

  • I'm confused. You say that it does appear to be included and mention writing a custom component. Is there a typo? Should the release notes be updated to exclude that link because the component is still in development by the core components team?

  • In the 6.5 release notes there is this item:Expose lists of Content Fragments via Content Services with the Content Fragment List Core Component. The link goes to the development branch of core components and not the master or current release (2.3.2). Is this an oversight in the 6.5 release notes tha...

  • Yes. Although you will probably need to include the "@context=" where appropriate since you are populating a JS string. You will need to chose the appropriate context scriptstring, unsafe, etc.. that matches what you populating.

  • I believe this is in the release notes somewhere (if I remember correctly). When I participated in the beta I noticed this issue and worked with product support to determine the same setup. In 6.2 the number of requests was lowered from the higher values 6.0 and 6.1 had by default.  It should occur ...

  • That is the same thing that I saw but there is a 1.0.19 update to Oak if you look at the url that I provided. I also saw that Sham said as much in another thread. Just wondering when that version will be made available in a package. There are release notes for 1.0.19 http://www.apache.org/dist/jackr...

  • When will oak 1.0.19 be available on the package share? When I've searched and looked I have not seen it. I believe it has a fix for an issue we are seeing on my client's authoring instance. We continue to get warning log messages that are along the lines of ...CompiledPermissionImpl Cannot retrieve...

  • What I did to answer a similar requirement was to actual do it before it technically replicated. So this would depend whether or not you needed to capture the event when its actually being replicated vs when the workflow is sending it to the queue of the specified replication agent. I created a cust...
