I would recommend checking if the dispatcher is caching the "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header. The common space character is encoded as %20.  For example, If you are uploading "N  9.pdf" with 2 spaces between N and 9. It will be rendered as "/content/dam/N%20%209.pdf" So, you should check if you have any redirects implemented at AEM/Apache level for %20 in the URL.
