I'd like to see a new feature introduced that gives you the ability to set up automatic classification of search terms as either brand or non-brand.(I know there is an engineering solution for this but I'd like to see something 'out of the box' introduced)

I've noticed that the 'out of the box' search engine detection rules misses quite a lot of search sites that are directing traffic to our site (such as search.bt.com uk.search-results.com, search.conduit.com, search.sky.com, search.babylon.com, etc) It would be great if within the admin console I could configure additional search engines to be included in the standard detection rules. You'd need some way of entering the URL referrer and the keyword query string parameter.

Currently Search Keyword is not available in processing rules as a variable. (probably because the processing that creates it is after the processing rules stage) However, it would be really useful if Adobe could make this available for processing rules. The only way to get at this in processing rules is to try and look for the referring URL query string parameter which is difficult because different search engines use different parameters 😞
