Currently the top journey of any page flow analysis is page refresh to page refresh. By allowing page refresh to be turned off you could then see the flow journey from one unique page to the next.This would also be the case for any other dimension such as search or page type.

It would be good if a calculated metric could be used in building a segment.

You can already do this. Just go to User Management find the login and click transfer then select all the items you want to transfer and who to.
