Audience Composition - "In next" time filter

Avatar

Level 4

Hello,

Id like to understand how the "in next" time filter works when using an event in audience composition in Adobe CDP. If I have an audience that looks at transactions in the next 1-10 days, will the audience evaluate every day to see who qualifies. Is this more ideal for batch or streaming segments?

Thanks!

Hi @RyanMoravick

Just to clarify, you are talking about using Audience Composition, and not the Audience Rule Builder, is that correct? Audience Composition is evaluated using a different job compared to the Global Segmentation Evaluation. That being said, my  understanding is that this specific audience would continue to be evaluated on a daily basis, only qualifying those who fall within those next 1-10 days criteria. I would imagine you could use batch or streaming segmentation, depending on the rules you would be using.

Thanks,

David
