Hi,
We've turned off the "Schedule All Audience" option at the sandbox level because we need to run the segmentation job for each audience individually(as per Business needs). With this setup, could you help me to understand how the process will work for an audience when using the edge evaluation method? Please note that we will be using this created edge audience in the Adobe Target destination.
Thanks,
MA

Hi @MA1985v1 , If the audience is set to use edge evaluation, AEP will evaluate audience membership in real-time or near-real-time as data is ingested. Any changes in the profile data that match the audience criteria will update the audience membership in real-time. This means that as soon as a user's behavior or attributes meet the criteria for an audience, they are added to or removed from that audience at the edge.
The schedule All Audience option will evaluate each audience batch, streaming, and edge at the scheduled time, and disabling this will let the edge segment be evaluated as per above.
Note: Be mindful of the implications when considering disabling this feature. While edge evaluation allows for real-time updates, running individual segmentation jobs may introduce some delay compared to scheduled, bulk evaluations, depending on how frequently you trigger these jobs.
Hope this helps.
