Scenario 1: The List Unsubscribe Consent Level is set to Identity and an email recipient opts out. If the customer changes the email address associated with their account, does the opt out status persist after that change?
[David]: the opt out doesn't persist as it's linked to this email address. The customer will receive emails on the newly added address.
Scenario 2: The List Unsubscribe Consent Level is set to Channel and an email recipient opts out. If the customer adds a new email address to their account in the future, would that email address also be opted out?
[David]: yes the 2nd email address will not receive the email as the opt-out is at the channel level. The customer will not receive the email.
