Problems with Node Flattening on publish server

I have turned on the node flattening feature in code with this config file:

com.adobe.dxml.flattening.FlatteningConfigurationService.config

process.label="DXML Flattening Configuration (A)"
flattening.enabled=B"true"

And my documents output and display correctly on my Author server, but when I publish and view the document on the Publish server, any element that was flattened does not display.

What would be the cause of this?

@rkody : can you check if the publish instances of AEM have the same AEM Guides version and configuration? As the logs you shared indicate that the component "fmdita/components/flattened" is missing.

If the node is flattened on the author server as expected but doesn't replicate to the publish server, there may be an issue with activation.

Can you confirm if other AEM site pages are successfully being published to your publish server? Please share error logs.

Yes all existing pages built before node flattening was turned on display correctly on publish.

Yes this was the issue. I updated Guides on our publish instance and everything worked perfectly after that.
