There are multiple way to create sitemap for the AEM site pages (AEM content & Content generated from AEM Guides).
1) ACS Commons sitemap generator
2) Custom generated sitemap
The second method is more useful when you need to customize the sitemap format according to your requirements (For e.g. Coveo search expect customized sitemap for better indexing). We had used the second approach in our AEM Guides project.
