What does s.abort do in DTM?

I've heard of people using s.abort in DTM. What does it do?

The abort flag can be set inside do Plugins to cause the current Analytics call to not be sent. The abort flag is reset with every tracking call, so subsequent tracking calls will not be aborted. See more in our documentation below:
