Reg : Video Tracking in DTM

  Hi ...

I am not able to capture the video tracking(Start , end , % complete etc .. ) in DTM tool. I created one Event Based Rules ‘StartVideoTrack’  as below .

I am using HTML5 video in my webpage. When I am clicking on Video, not able to capture the values in the console.

Can you please suggest or any steps required to follow for video tracking.

Hi ,

Please specify and name of the tag you are going to track i.e. please update the Element or Tag Selector with "video#satish" instead of "#satish" and let us know if it is working or not.

If it doesn't work , Please send your account Details & Test URL of website so that we can test it at our end

Hi Parit Mittal,

Now i changed 'video#satish' in element tag. But i am facing same issue( Not able to track) .

I am testing in local environment. I am not able to share you the details. If you have any documentation it's big help for us and if possible we will share you the web ex session for this issue.

Hi Parit Mittal,

After updating the Element or Tag Selector with "video#satish" instead of "#satish" , Now video events are firing properly.
