Query String Parameter in Adobe Launch

I am trying to use the query string parameter in launch to bring in send date &senddate=2023-09-18&. Below is my setup for the data element, but when i check the console for the evar I get enddate%. I have set up other QSP's in launch and have not had an issue, would the date be causing an issue?
